For those of you flying into LAX, this will be on the way to our wedding venue, just off the 405 freeway. It's hands down the most stunning view of Los Angeles, with a gorgeous garden, delicious food and drinks, stunning architecture, and endless exhibits. If you have the time, we highly recommend y'all check it out. Admission is free, but they recommend you make a reservation before hand. However, parking is $20 per vehicle.
If you are a movie fan, this is your heaven on earth. Or at least it's Lauren's! From exploring Hogsmeade (from Harry Potter you muggle) and a lot tour of Universal's most memorable sets to exciting roller coasters and delicious sugary treats, Universal has everything your film loving heart could ever desire.
This gem of a town is a great spot for a day visit. Less than an hour away, it's chock full of history, art, amazing locally owned restaurants and shops. Ojai is also known to have some of the best olive oil in the world, so be sure to pick some up if you pass through.
For our thrill seekers, this panic-induced carnival is right outside Santa Clarita. Apparently it holds the world record for the most rollercoasters in one amusement park (20, if you care). I hear if you ride all 20 in one day, they give you free high-fives. Oh, and there's a water park too! This place is INSANE!
