Question

Will there be Parking at the venue?

Answer

No! This is very important. We have a hired a bus shuttle service to bring all guests from the Hyatt Hotel in Uncasville to the wedding venue (where there is no parking), and back to the Hyatt after. The shuttle will pick everyone up at the Hyatt (2049 Norwich-New London Turnpike, Montville, CT 06382) at 4:00pm for the wedding, and depart from the venue at 10:00pm. This is the only way to get to the wedding other than Ubering so please be punctual! It is about a 20 minute ride to East Lyme.

What if I'm not staying at the Hyatt?

Answer

Please find guests to carpool to the Hyatt (2049 Norwich-New London Turnpike, Montville, CT 06382) with. You are welcome to use their lot to park your car and catch the shuttle service at 4:00pm sharp. There is no other way to get to the wedding. If you prefer to Uber, please reach out ahead of the wedding date for the venue's private address.

What should I wear?

We're so excited to celebrate with you at this residential venue! The festivities will take place on the lawn by the pond, blending a homey vibe with an elegant atmosphere. To help set the tone, we invite you to join us in dressing "garden chic"—a style that's both formal and upscale comfortable for the summer season. This will also be a semi tented event. Our earthy and vibrant color palette is featured at the top of this page. If you'd like, feel free to incorporate these hues into your outfit to match the spirit of the day! For Feminine Attire: This is the perfect chance to dress to impress! Midi and ankle-length dresses are encouraged, and floor-length gowns are welcome if that's your style. Please consider the grass when choosing your footwear—heel caps will be provided in the ladies room to make your steps more stable. For Masculine Attire: Lightweight suits, button-downs, or whatever makes you feel sharp and stylish will fit right in. We can’t wait to see your stunning looks as we celebrate together!

Can I bring my kids?

We ultimately chose to keep this wedding adults only due to the open water near by and limited space. We kindly request that our wedding day be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure our guest list stays within capacity, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation RSVP. If a plus one is included for you, you’ll see their name or a space to RSVP for them when you respond.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Please come prepared with cash to tip our amazing bartenders. We will also have their Venmo's available for digital tipping :)

What type of food will be served?

Answer

Cocktail hour will be a surprise cuisine before our buffet style BBQ dinner. Cake and late night savory snacks to follow!

Is there an after party?

Answer

We will have a table at Vista Lounge in Mohegan Sun. We welcome any and all who are up for a drink, a dance, or some gambling to join us! The Hyatt has a shuttle that will bring you back and fourth, running until 1:00am. It's a quick uber or about a 25 minute walk otherwise.
