We're getting married!!

They "met" online. Bryon lived in Wyoming and Chanel lived in Arizona about 700 miles apart! Chanel was hesitant to start a long distant relationship however Bryon assured her that he would fly out to see her every chance he could and he fully kept that promise. They spent hours every day on FaceTime or just chatting on the phone getting to know each other. Then finally Bryon flew her out to Maui, Hawaii to meet in person for the first time and their official first date!! He picked her up at the airport and welcomed her with a beautifully fragrant lei. During that week, both Bryon and Chanel realized they had found something so special in each other. So before they departed Hawaii, they committed to giving this relationship their best and they are so happy that they did. They had no idea how beautifully their relationship would evolve both spiritually and emotionally. This special bond between them brought them both closer to our Savior and helped them to make so many positive changes in their lives. They both believe The Lord has a wise purpose in bringing them together.

Almost exactly two years from the day they met (7.18.21), Bryon took Chanel to dinner for their date night in Jackson Hole at The White Buffalo Club. After dinner, they drove about 30 mins up to the Grand Teton National Park and made their way to Schwabacher's Landing. They took a short stroll down a beautiful river path with a picture perfect backdrop of the Teton Mountains. Chanel was stunned to find the most beautiful and romantic setting she had ever laid her eyes on. 7 large illuminated letters which spelled "Marry Me"were gazing back at her and in front of those letters were thousands of scattered fresh red rose petals in the shape of a heart with lit candles. Bryon walked Chanel inside the heart and got down on one knee. He looked up and said, "since the moment we first met I fell in love with you and I knew you were the one I wanted to spend eternity with. I love you so very much Chanel! Will you marry me?" Chanel was a little overcome by it all but soon after she looked sincerely at him and said, "Yes! Of course I will!!" with a beautiful and loving smile on her face. Bryon placed the engagement ring on her finger and without even being aware they heard cheering and clapping from complete strangers who stopped to watch in awe.
