As we all adapt to an uncertain time with COVID-19 (coronavirus), we are monitoring the news carefully. We are prepared to take every precaution necessary to make our wedding safe for our guests. Our current plans are to proceed as planned with enhanced safety measures and protocol. Should those plans change, we will notify you as soon as possible. Your safety and comfort are our utmost priority and we understand the current situation may prevent some of our loved ones from feeling comfortable or confident in celebrating with us. While we can not guarantee the risk of exposure, below you will find some helpful information regarding the steps we are taking to make the environment safer for our guests. Ceremony- Carrollton First United Methodist Church currently requires mask wearing inside and will be enforcing social distancing measures and temperature checks. Should you wish to proceed directly to the reception, please plan to arrive by 6:30 pm. Reception- Our reception will take place both under a tent and in throughout the property in open air. We will have special reserved seating areas for immune compromised guests. Our wedding team and vendors have all taken enhanced health and safety measures, and we have these on file. Should you feel sick or have a fever, we ask that you please refrain from attending. We encourage our guests to follow proper social distancing protocols while celebrating with us. Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our wedding planner Lindsay Sims lindsay@toast-events.com or 678-637-2100. *Please note any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while in attendance at the event.
Bryce and I both attended Auburn University, Bryce graduated in 2014 and I in 2016. Being a couple years apart in age, we knew of each other during our college years through mutual friends but did not actually meet until we both moved to Atlanta for our jobs. While getting settled in Atlanta, a kickball team formed and that is what sparked our friendship (amongst many others). For about a year after moving to Atlanta, Bryce and I were great friends. He was always so much fun to be around and was the best listener! As our friendship grew, so did our feelings for one another...unbeknownst to us (kind of). Bryce finally took a leap of faith and decided to openly pursue me and it was all history from there. Due to our friendship prior to dating, it made the "getting to know you" phase so easy and natural. I think we both knew that our relationship would progress into marriage from pretty early on :) Bryce is the best person I know and I am so grateful that I get to have him as my partner in life forever!
