We'd like our lovely guests to wear Cocktail Attire. We also have a color palette we'd like to stick to for a cohesive theme. It is a day wedding so floral and more airy fabrics work great! Our wedding colors are light pink and hues of blue and we'd kindly request our guests to wear these colors for our special day. We want you to feel comfortable so wear something you feel good in! You can find a loose guideline for this by following this link: https://www.canva.com/design/DAFqO3B-iIM/LJpx06CEAQ9OLcisVlV__w/edit?utm_content=DAFqO3B-iIM&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=sharebutton You can find some inspiration on a pin board here: https://www.pinterest.com/sarodriguez97/flores-wedding-guest-inspo/?invite_code=e0ba4806ba2e4faa9a59580c2e3c0239&sender=417146121643649500 If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
Our beautiful venue will be where all events for the day will be held! Our ceremony will be outside (keep this in mind when choosing your footwear), the Cocktail hour will be held both indoors on the patio and inside and the Reception will be held in the ballroom. The entire space is ours for the day, so take the time to walk around and enjoy the views. We hope you love it as much as we do.
Yes! We have booked a hotel block at the lovely Archer Hotel (a hotel that we love) which is 10 minutes away from the venue. You can use the link below to book your stay. https://archerhotel.com/florham-park/book/rodriguez-flores-wedding
Yes! There will be a first shuttle that will begin loading at 10:10 am to shuttle those guests over to the Park Savoy. Then the shuttle will return to the archer and bring the rest of the guests to the Park Savoy. The same goes for returning to the hotel from the venue. The first shuttle back will arrive at the Park Savoy a little before the reception ends at 5pm.
Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue. There is a lot for self-parking, first come, first served.
YES! Premium open bar will be available throughout the event. Get ready to party! There will also be Mocktails available to those who'd like to enjoy nice beverages sans alcohol.
We ask our guests to kindly put all phones away during the ceremony. We have hired professional photographers to capture the day and we'd love for everyone to be present in the moment during this special ceremony. Outside of the ceremony, any and all photos are fair game, so go crazy! We'd love for you to share any moments that you capture with us.
Yes! We have plenty of friends and family who have a number of dietary restrictions and we have picked our menu to cater to these needs. There will be plenty of food for everyone so come hungry!
Yes! Serena is half filipino and we will be incorporating some filipino wedding traditions at both the ceremony and the reception. At the ceremony, we will be incorporating the filipino Veil and Cord ceremonies. The Veil symbolizes the couples togetherness. The cord is a symbol of the couple's bond; that indeed they are no longer two but one in their new life as a couple. At the reception, we will be including a money dance! The money dance is a cultural tradition where guests offer the newly weds money to dance with them, or they shower the couple with money. The custom is to help establish the couple in their new life together and show much much they are loved and appreciated. Traditionally, this is done by pinning money onto both the bride and groom.
