Entertainment and Shopping: Historic Downtown McKinney
This is located 6 miles from the Allen Courtyard. Historic downtown is the Stars Hallow Lindsey always dreamed of. There are lots of unique shops, live music, and fun restaurants at the square. Check out the farmers market on Saturday from 8am-12pm.
Food: The Yard McKinney TX
This is one just 6 miles from the Allen Courtyard and is one of our favorite places to eat in downtown McKinney. The food is great and the restaurant has a fun outdoor atmosphere and is kid and dog friendly!
Shopping: Allen Premium Outlets
The Allen Premium Outlets are just .6 mile from the hotel. Lots of stores including Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Nike, Adidas and more.
Food: Hutchins BBQ
People come from out of state for this bbq. This is one of our favorite bbq spots and is just 7 miles away from the Courtyard in Allen. Just a heads up - we will be having bbq at the wedding from Tender Smokehouse.

If you are look for fun restaurants or something to do Grandscape has it all. This is a little further from the hotel (14 miles) but worth the trip for unique entertainment, restaurants, and events.
Tourist Attraction: Fort Worth Stockyards
Tourist Attraction 60 miles from the Allen Courtyard. The Stockyards in Fort Worth are a must see tourist attraction if you are looking for a fun way to spend the day. From shops, restaurants, saloons, the rodeo, and a barnyard petting coral there is something for everyone.
