How we met

Hinge: The Dating App Designed to be Deleted Bryan and Carrie met in the most modern and underrated way you could think of. Yep, they met on a dating app. Bryan had recently returned to Moody AFB after being stationed in South Korea for two years, and Carrie had just bought a home in Valdosta only 50 minutes from her hometown. Bryan would tell you he was ready to call it quits with dating altogether, and Carrie was ready to swear off men until further notice. However, the stars aligned, and they both "liked" each other's profile. Bryan was persistent from the start, and he made it clear to Carrie that he wanted to get to know her better. He actually told Carrie early on that he had a "feeling" about her. Of course, Carrie thought this was odd and contemplated never speaking to him again. After a few failed attempts to get Carrie's attention, Bryan finally asked Carrie to go to her favorite restaurant in town, Friends. Carrie could not turn down the offer for a free meal, so she went with hesitation. Bryan says his first impression of Carrie upon meeting in person was, "She's cute." Carrie's first impression was, "He has a nice face." After getting over the initial anxiety of meeting, Bryan and Carrie were informed that it would be an hour wait for dinner. Instead of finding someplace else to go, Bryan exclaimed, "I have a cooler in my truck!?" So they both spent the next hour talking in Bryan's truck until they got word that their table was ready. Bryan did not find the first table suitable due to it being too loud, and he requested to be moved someplace quieter. Throughout dinner, Bryan and Carrie shared their food with each other (Carrie is not big on sharing her food with just anyone) and had honest conversation about each other, their pasts, and their hopes for the future. Neither of them wanted the date to be over, so Bryan invited Carrie over to his place where they ended up chatting more and watching possibly the worst movie of all time -- False Positive. Carrie was impressed and slightly disappointed when Bryan walked her out to her car at the end of the night and hugged her goodbye. Bryan and Carrie are both happy they decided to give modern dating a chance, and despite the odds, they proved that Hinge is actually the dating app designed to be deleted.
