Bringing kids with you? Let them run off some steam and maybe learn something. Blaise is a huge fan!
Bomb Mexican food. Ages 21+. We go here way too much.
THE BEST ice cream! They have really cool flavors they create in-house. Perfect for a hot day!
Great German food! Great selection of German beer.
Great selection of beer. Close to our house.
Really beautiful place to take a walk. Burn off some of those wedding calories. :)
Beautiful and popular waterfall just off the freeway.
Amazing blueberry pancake beer. Seriously. Trust us.
Great brunch place. If you haven't had brunch in Portland, you need to know it's super popular, so there's going to be a long wait. SO maybe have a snack first. But it's totally worth it!
Great brunch place that accepts reservations! Hey millennials, you can even make the reservations online!
Bowling and arcade with actual food and booze! What more could you want? We recommend reserving a lane online ahead of time.
This is our favorite beach town Super sleepy. Lots of good places to eat and get beer. Check out Haystack Rock.
Amazing, handmade, fresh pasta. So nom!
Visiting from out of state and want to try our local marijuana selection? Ages 21+
We went here for our first date then took a walk along the river.
This is our favorite McMenamins location. There is outdoor seating which we really enjoy. Expect slow but friendly service - that's part of the charm! This is a place to go and chill, have a beer and a great burger, and relax with friends. If you're into beer, try their Ruby. Kids are welcome and can run around in the big yard outside.
This donut place is a Portland icon. If you fly into PDX, you'll see people walking around with big pink boxes they're taking home. The line will be long, but the donuts are great! There's another location on the Eastside!
The best breakfast sandwiches! Be prepared to wait. You always wait for breakfast/brunch in Portland.
You HAVE to go here! An entire city block of books! A Portland icon.
This coffee is fantastic!! Highly recommended. Bryan lives here.
Really nice Peruvian restaurant. We've gone on a few anniversary dates here. They often have live music. You probably want to get a reservation and you should definitely dress up a bit.
