Like most modern couples, we met online. Despite my parents strict rules growing up, I talked to a person on the internet, met them in person, got into their car, and fell helplessly in love.
Our first date was amazing. We started with dinner, where laughter and conversation flowed effortlessly. After dinner we decided to extend the evening with drinks at a local speakeasy. 
As the night went on, neither of us wanted it to end. We found ourselves stargazing in the park, sharing stories under the beautiful early summer sky. It was in that moment, we both knew we had found something truly special. 
After the date, Bryan told his Mom, "I am going to marry this woman." His certainty mirrored my own feelings. Now, we get to spend the rest of our lives together, cherishing the love that began with a simple online message and blossomed into a lifetime of happiness.
