Belle Isle

Take a walk on the river at Belle Isle. From downtown Richmond’s north bank, along Tredegar Street, the main access point is the Belle Isle Pedestrian Bridge that runs under the Lee Bridge. This footbridge offers both pedestrian and bicycle accessibility from Tredegar Street. The Belle Isle parking lot is located at the corner of Tredegar Street and Brown’s Island Way

Canal Walk

This is a beautiful bridged walk across the James River. A short walk from Casa Del Barco, you will cross the water from Brown's Island to the T Tyler Potterfield Memorial Bridge.

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

VMFA is an art museum in downtown Richmond. You can visit the museum, and you can also pack a picnic and sit outside in the lawn!
