We recommend checking the local forecast for the latest on weather. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, as well as inside the barn.
We recommend semi-formal with a touch of rustic elegance. If you would like to wear a jacket and tie, please do, but it is not required. Since the ceremony and reception venue is a working ranch in Edna Valley, set amongst rolling hills and pastures, we suggest wearing appropriate shoes such as sturdy heels, wedges, boots, sandals, or flats, but would avoid high heels due to the uneven surfaces. Although there will be some hard surfaces, the ground will be primarily natural or hard packed soil. Most importantly, be comfortable walking and dancing in your shoes.
Spreafico Farms, the venue for both the ceremony and reception, is located at 7900 Orcutt Road in San Luis Obispo. There is a large parking lot, which guests are welcome to use. If you would like to catch a ride home, you may leave your vehicle overnight in the lot. Shuttles buses are not being offered, but Uber, Lyft and taxis are available in the area.
We recommend arriving no earlier than 3:15 pm and no later than 3:45 pm. It is approximately a 15-20 minute drive from either San Luis Obispo and/or Pismo Beach to Spreafico Farms. It will take you about 10 minutes to reach the ceremony site from the parking lot. We will have welcome drinks mid-way, so plan to arrive early. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm.
The ceremony site is located at the top of a hill past the barn. It is approximately a 10 minute walk up an unpaved road. Transportation for those that need assistance is available.
Although there isn’t a formal afterparty, we recommend heading to Downtown San Luis Obispo or Pismo Beach to continue the fun and bar hop. Some of our favorites are Bull’s Tavern, Creeky Tiki and Mother’s Tavern.
