Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside in back of the clubhouse. Both cocktail hour and the reception will be inside. If the weather does not cooperate, all will be inside.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Aside from immediate family, we are requesting a child free wedding and reception. Enjoy yourselves parents!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our guests to bring a guest of their own. Unless your invitation says "Plus Guest" we kindly ask you not to bring a guest.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire. Race Brook Country Club does not allow jeans or denim inside the Clubhouse.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the Travel Page. We have room blocks set up at the Courtyard Marriott - Orange and Homewood Suites - Orange. The room blocks expire on July 2nd 2024.

What is the easiest way to get to Orange, CT?

Answer

Orange, CT is near New Haven, CT about an hour south of the Bradley Hartford/Springfield airport, about 1.5+ hours from the NYC airports, and near Tweed New Haven. At this time Avelo airlines is the only airline to fly into New Haven. They currently fly to New Haven from a number of airports in Florida, the Carolinas and Midway in Chicago.
