Prague Visitor Pass

We wanted to list this as a great option for getting around town/free entry into some popular places. We've used this before and can confirm it is very easy! It includes entry to St. Vitus Cathedral, Astronomical Clocktower, Powder Gate, Old Town Bridge Tower, Vyšehrad, and plenty more places you will likely stumble across. The full list is available at the link below. - The Prague Visitor Pass is valid for 48, 72, or 120 consecutive hours once activated. During its validity period, it serves as a ticket for unlimited travel on public transport.

Prague Castle & St. Vitus Cathedral

Prague 1, Prague 119 08, Czech Republic

A UNESCO monument with more than a thousand years of tradition. Textbook of architecture and art history. A destination for visitors from all over the world. The castle was probably founded sometime around 880 by Prince Bořivoj from the Přemyslov family. According to the Guinness Book of Records, Prague Castle is the largest continuous castle complex in the world, it covers an area of ​​almost 70,000 m² and is also included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. The castle consists of an extensive set of palaces and church buildings of various architectural styles - from the remains of Romanesque buildings from the 10th century to the Gothic modifications of the 14th century, the interventions of the famous Slovenian architect Josip Plečnik during the First Republic to the latest modifications from the end of the 20th century.

Charles Bridge

Praha 1, Hlavní město Praha 110 00, Czech Republic

Prague’s oldest bridge was built to replace the Judith Bridge that had been badly damaged by floods in 1342. It is built of sandstone blocks, flanked at each end by fortified towers (Lesser Town Bridge Towers, Old Town Bridge Tower). From 1683 to 1928, 30 statues of saints were carved to decorate the bridge, the most famous of which is the statue of St John of Nepomuk. Very busy during the day, be sure to check out the sunrise here for the best view.

Prague Astronomical Clock

Make sure you wait to see it chime! Prague's astronomical clock can be found on the southern wall of Old Town City Hall in Prague's Old Town Square. You can also tour the inside and see the underground tunnels that were once the original city of Prague before they built it up. Ask for Patrik to be your tour guide! Showtimes: The Apostles of the astronomical clock are in operation from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. Showtimes are at the top of every hour. Keep your belongings close during the clock's performance.

Petrin Hill

Prague 1, Prague 118 00, Czech Republic

Explore Petrin Hill the "Central Park" of Prague. This was Brianna's park she frequented during her time studying in Prague. The American Embassy borders the park so you can catch a glimpse of Old Glory if you are missing 'Murica.

Dancing House

The Dancing House (Czech: Tancici dum) or Fred and Ginger is the nickname given to the Nationale-Nederlanden building in Prague, Czech Republic. Its site was the location of a house destroyed by the U.S. bombing of Prague in 1945...OOPS. The building gained its name thanks to the towers that resemble famous figures of dancers, Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. A stone tower represents dancer and a glass tower his female partner. At the top of the tower symbolizing the dancer there is a dome with the construction of metal tubes coated with stainless steel mesh-work. The dome is shrouded in imaginary hair and symbolizes the head of jellyfish. Make sure to stop inside at Ginger & Fred Restaurant . A modern architectural restaurant with a freshly conceived interior, a fantastic view of Prague Castle and Hradčany, complemented by traditional, perfectly seasoned gastronomy.

St. Cyril and Methodius Cathedral (Operation Anthropoid)

Resslova, Nové Město, Hlavní město Praha 120 00, Czech Republic

The small museum in the crypt of this church details what happened here in WOrld War 2. During Operation Anthropoid, this was where the paratroopers who planned the successful assassination of Reichsprotektor Reinhard Heydrich were hiding. This is a fantastic stop for history buffs.

Palladium Mall

Has a fancy name but really it's a mall...... Great place to get anything you forgot on your journey! Located right by the main hotel of the wedding party. Great food court for those that have a bit of home sickness!

State Opera

4 Wilsonova, Vinohrady, Hlavní město Praha 110 00, Czech Republic

Will need to purchase tickets in advance, but the building is beautiful and worth a trip if you are into it.

Wenceslas Square

Václavské náměstí, Nové Město, Hlavní město Praha 110 00, Czech Republic

This square is the commercial and administrative centre of the city as well as the site of important social and historical events. Plenty of shopping and many places to eat. A great place to explore and shop.

National Museum

Another great stop - The National Museum is the largest museum in the Czech Republic. It covers a range of disciplines and collecting fields from the natural sciences to specialized areas of the social sciences. It brings together collections of materials documenting the development of nature, and the history and prehistory of both Czech and foreign origins.

Czech Museum of Music

The Czech Museum of Music preserves music-related materials in the collections of the National Museum. In its funds, it preserves 700,000 documents of musical history - an extensive sheet music archive, a phone library, a collection of musical instruments, or the estates or collections of the Bedřich Smetana Museum and the Antonín Dvořák Museum. Check out their calendar of events as they put on great concerts. Don't forget to stop by their gift shop!

Vyšehrad

Slightly off the beaten path, but one of the most beautiful churches! This is in a public park situated on a rocky promontory above the Vltava River - it offers stunning views of the city, and the park area holds hidden architectural treasures including the rare Romanesque Rotunda of St Martin, the neo-Gothic Basilica of St. Peter and Paul, the national cemetery Slavín, and the underground casements housing the some of the original Baroque statues from the Charles Bridge.

The facility also has guests club lounge, class room, spacious gun room, locker room and more. We visited the indoor location that is located in the city. You will still need to take a tram or an uber from the hotel--it is a bit of a walk. Logan approves of the guns so it must be decent? Really friendly team and everyone spoke amazing English. Prague Underground and Dungeon historical Tour

St. Nickolas Church/Kostel sv. Mikuláše

The Church of St Nicholas, the most famous Baroque church in Prague, stands along with the former Jesuit college in the center of the Lesser Town Square. This a great stop on your way up or down from the Castle. Make sure you go up in the balcony for a better view! April Fri. – Sat. 9.00-17.00 Sun. – Thu. 9.00 – 18.00 Tickets for the tour can be purchased only at the box office – the information center of the church. We accept payments in cash in CZK or by credit card.
