Madeline and Sara's friendship started at a Bible study on summer night, right before Madeline left for a trip to Ireland. Sara exclaimed it was great to meet her and said, "It's too bad you're leaving, we could've been best friends". Two weeks later, Madeline came back. Madeline is a tender and strong person; she seeks to know others and care for them well. Madeline is one of the most intentional friends that Sara could have ever asked for and is honored to have her stand by her side on October 30th, and beyond.
Allison Walker

Allison came into Sara's life at the most perfect God-ordained time, meeting in a time of loneliness. Allison was a kind and welcoming friend to Sara. She recalls having a conversation with Allison about how she and Andrew, her husband, wanted their home to be a refuge to others. Little did Allison know, that was exactly what Sara was searching for. Allison is wise, empathetic, warm, and genuine. Her love for the Lord is so apparent in the things she does and words she says, and Sara is so thankful for her.
Joanna Bernardini

Joanna and Sara have known each other since middle school but became close in college. Joanna is the epitome of a good friend: encouraging, loyal, kind, honest. She will stand beside her friends in their happiest moments and also in the most horrible days. She is a champion for others and truly knows herself. Walking through dating, engagement, and wedding planning at the same time as Jo was such a gift for Sara!
Caroline "Carolini" Peters

Sara recalls her year of sharing a room with Caroline as being a mess, but the best kind of mess you can have. The two of them had opposing sleep schedules, but they made it work. Caroline is loving, the hardest worker, and the most loyal friend. She constantly kept Sara laughing throughout their year in Downline, but also held her accountable and was an example to Sara of how to fervently trust God.
Jeremy Sperazza

Bruce has known Jeremy for only four years but considers him his best friend. Jeremy loves the Lord and is one of the most joy filled people Bruce knows. He is very intentional in the way he engages people and in the way he pursues God. He also has a song for every occasion! Throughout their friendship, Jeremy has helped Bruce learn what it looks like to enjoy fellowship with the Lord.
Sam Wilcox
Groomsman
Sam and Bruce met in Downline and were roommates, and they actually shared a room (and are still currently sharing a room)! Sam is a fun loving guy, very "down to ride" in his words; he is patient and very dependable. One thing that Sam shared with Bruce that he has always remembered is that "Christians have more reason than anybody to party." Bruce has taken that to heart.
John Caleb Somasundaram

John Caleb is one of the most God fearing men that Bruce knows. He is a faithful follower of Jesus and is also a faithful friend, walking with Bruce through one of the most difficult seasons he has experienced. Through John Caleb's faithfulness, Bruce realized that God can and does tangibly show his love through friendships on earth.
Alan Payton

Bruce knows no one else that is as much of a prayer warrior as Alan is. He is always faithfully lifting his friends up to the Lord, and it has always been such an encouragement to Bruce. In fact, for the past couple of years, Alan has been praying for Bruce's future wife! Not much else needs to be said on how impacting that has been!
Jay Schulte

When Bruce met Jay in Downline, he seemed like the quintessential cool guy (almost too cool for Bruce!). More than his coolness though, Jay is a very kind and humble soul, always encouraging and very sincere. From the year Bruce spent living with him, Bruce learned that it's okay to be human in your walk with Jesus.
Young Sang Ryu

Young Sang and Bruce also met in Downline and were roommates during that time. One thing that Bruce has always admired about Young is his honesty and his courage to face reality. Through their friendship, Bruce was able to connect with Young over their similar cultural background, a part of Bruce that was stowed away and then rediscovered that year. For that, among other things, Bruce is thankful for him.
Matthew Lisanby

Matt was, you guessed it, a roommate of Bruce's during Downline! Matt has a very charismatic personality and is great at telling stories. He brings an enthusiastic energy to any social gathering and is just fun to be around! He is also very good at driving incredibly long distances while staying focused. Matt is incredibly empathetic and a very compassionate friend, and he and Bruce have shared many a heart to heart.
