We met in Price, Utah while attending college at Utah State University Eastern. Cassidy was on the softball team and Brooklynn played basketball. We have been inseparable ever since.

Cassidy wanted to make sure this date was perfect. She recruited one of her best friends to drive up Butterfield Canyon to find the perfect spot. The next day, Cassidy brought Brooklynn up through the Canyon, where she had set up a movie projector in the mountains and they watched their favorite movies.

Brooklynn had made "Dinner Plans" this night for the two of them on their anniversary. Little did Cassidy know, that is not where they were headed. Brooklynn blindfolded Cassidy and brought her to their first date spot at Butterfield Canyon and then Brooklynn popped the question!
