Bridget Hodgdon

Bridesmaid

Bridget, aka B, is Brooke's oldest friend. They met when they were 6 and have had many adventures ever since. Tearing up dance floors together from high school house parties, Wesleyan raves, and at Chapin's with our parents in tow. B is the sister Brooke never had, not only did they grow up down the street from each other, their families shared a ski house together and spent time on the cape together, making the Hodgdon's a second family for Brooke. B recently bought a pent house condo in Brighton which she is the primary designer for a full renovation. In her free time she is raising her new family member, the sweetest rescue puppy, Toph.

Clancy McGilligan

Best Man

Clancy and Sky met in 1992 when Sky was born. He was a paragon of an older brother, taking Sky under his wing at a young age and teaching him things like how to handle dry ice and how to wipe his butt. Clancy resides in Cincinnati with his wife Marianne where he spends his time writing fiction, playing bocce, making homemade mayonnaise, and raising their daughter Inez. Clancy could not participate in the bachelor party competition due to the novel Coronavirus.

Mildred Conroy

Bridesmaid

Mildred and Brooke met while teaching sailing together on Cape Cod. They quickly became friends over their mutual love of diet coke, racing J24's against a lot of old dudes, and causing a scene on the Chappy Ferry. Brooke even moved into Mildreds attic room for multiple summers although she lived less than 1/2 a mile away. Over the years they've continued to embark on skiing adventures and rafting on Eastern Beach. When she is not throwing the best parties on Cape Cod at Elmwood, she is traveling the country holding big pharma responsible for their role in the opioid epidemic and skiing between meetings out west.

Bowie McGilligan

Best Man

Bowie and Sky met in 1992 when Sky was born. He was also a pretty good older brother, although he only taught Sky how to poop his pants. Bowie resides in Washington, D.C. where he is a special education teacher and enjoys going on long runs, making cacio e pepe, watching old movies, and curating a playlist weekly for his silent rave club that meets on the Capitol steps. Bowie was 1 point away from the 4 way tie for 5th place with 55 points. He was a winner of the drawing competition.

Cassandra Shavney

Bridesmaid

Brooke and Cassandra met through Brett, as he is Cassandra's partner. They quickly bonded over their love for board games, going out to eat, and trying new interesting beers. Their relationship QUICKLY became much stronger after quarantining together at the Quarantine Cottage next door to Brooke's parents during the pandemic. The nights and days were full of online workouts (305 fitness), Beat Saber on the Oculus, so many board games, and lots of meals cooked together. In her free time, she is scouting out the best new restaurants in Boston, destroying PR's on the Peloton, or buying someone she loves the absolute best gifts.

Brett Baker

Man of Honor

Brett and Sky met in 2013 when he came to Brooke's college graduation where together they painted the town red. Brett and Sky bonded over their shared love of food, Magic the Gathering, and just general good vibes. Brett resides in Boston where he enjoys looking at dogs from his window, reading heavy books, building model trains, and sectioning off portions of natural grassland for migrating birds. Brett did not place in the competition, although his innovative approach to the paper airplane contest caused some rule changes.

Mikaela Curtin

Bridesmaid

Brooke and Mikaela met at Wesleyan, but became extremely close when they realized they grew up a whole 15 minutes away from each other. They then embarked on 4 years of living together with many highlights including driving a 20 foot long Uhaul from their family homes in MA culminating with a drive down second ave for the entire length of Manhattan to their first NYC apartment. They ran the entire NYC marathon together, crossing the finish line HAND IN HAND, raising money for the Alzheimers Association which means a whole lot to both of them. Their mutual love for New England sports (or any sport you can watch at a bar) has allowed them to scope out the best wings/beer selections/and sometimes martinis all over the city, and even in Brooke's new city of Jersey City. In her free time she can be found running the west side highway, perfecting her golf and tennis games for Florida, or finding the best new place to eat (and making the best Resy reservations for us) .

He placed first in the bachelor competition with 67 points, winning several contests and generally being regarded as a crowd favorite.

Scyrine DeVeaux

Bridesmaid

Brooke and Scyrine were random roommates at Wesleyan, and placed in the smallest double known to mankind where they could truly hold hands while they slept, though to Brooke's dismay that was not Scyrine's style. They have had many adventures from biking the french country side to finding the best molten lava cakes in NYC (spoiler they're Dominos). Scy and Brooke lived together for 6 years straight (which at this point is longer than her and Sky), and they were some of the absolute best. When Scyrine isn't developing strategy for Master Card she can be found biking around BK, painting, or caring for her extremely impressive plant collection.

Where to begin with Fitz my friend from school? Sixth grade when I gave him a bag of hair? While that is when Fitz first thought I was cool, We met when I was ev’n more young and fair. How odd and strange our sense of humors were, Same interests such as Scrubs and weird movies. Both sporty and both strong like balsam fir, And even better was his family. Unranked was Fitz late into the party Despite his minor athletic prowess. But grading of the quiz turned gloom to glee For Fitzhugh was the one who knew me best. While third he came after a bumpy start, He’s always held a top place in my heart.

Keegan and Sky met freshman year at Wesleyan when they played Super Smash Bros on N64 in Keegan's dorm room. Keegan will deny this is true. They share a love of making movies, a commitment to the bit, and a mutual interest in collecting old coins. Keegan came in 4th place with 57 points.

Ava Donaldson

Ava and Brooke also became friends during their freshman year at Wesleyan. They would often go on walks around campus and explore CT thankfully Ava was a local and had some insight on the best lattes and manicure locations. Ava was always willing to lend an ear and give amazing advice. Ava and Brooke lived in NYC after college together as well, again Ava finding the best restaurants and work out classes and bringing Brooke along. Over the years Ava has always been an extremely thoughtful friend never missing a milestone or a check in to see how you are doing. She also keeps you up to date on the moons and stars and warnings on when mercury will go into retrograde. When she is not being a boss at Google, she is volunteering on many campaigns, creating works of art for her side business, BuyBeaded, or being the fairy godmother to Yoda.

Ben Kafoglis

Groomsman

Ben and Sky met at Wesleyan University where they sat in Pi Cafe and labored over a song for Shrak called "Lost Revenue", which was later cut. Ben was in a 4 way tie for 5th place with 56 points and won in a tie-breaking coin flip competition.

Bennett Sluis

Usher

Bennett met Sky their freshman year at Wesleyan because Bennett is a social creature, much like a golden retriever puppy unleashed in a public park. They became roommates the rest of their time at Wesleyan, where Bennett taught Sky things like how to do calf raisers at the gym, and Sky taught Bennett things like what an eggplant is. They have shared many adventures since college, including haunted trips to Savannah and primitive camping in the Kaaterskill Forest. Bennett resides in New York City where, believe it or not, he is an anesthesiologist. He enjoys playing basketball on the weekends, going to obscure concerts, meeting new people on the subway, and saving for his first motorcycle. Bennett tied for 5th place with 56 points, sacrificing his hamstring to get there, but lost in the coin flip competition.

Alex Kindness

Usher

Alex and Sky met a long time ago, around 1995 when they were little boys not yet men. They lived across the street from each other and spent many summer days singing Summer Nights at Phantom Lake, playing basketball with Dwyane Wade at Marquette, or rabble rousing at the local laundromat. Alex resides in Madison, Wisconsin where he is studying to be a veterinarian. Alex tied for 5th place with 56 points but lost in the coin flip competition.

Genevieve Aniello

Officiant

Genevieve and Brooke became friends during their freshman year. Genevieve would make Brooke laugh so hard she would cry daily with her impersonations of Miranda Sings or other jokes/bits. Genevieve also was very skilled in the wrap station at Usdan which Brooke still dreams about those sandwiches. G and Brooke moved to NYC together and continued to binge shows together, eat delicious food made by G, walk their new family member Yoda. Genevieve offered about 2 years into Sky and Brooke dating that 1 day she would officiate their wedding, and 7 years later they took her up on it. They feel so lucky to have such a wonderful, thoughtful and hilarious friend marrying them. When G is not writing television shows, she is scoping out the best restaurants in BK, also creating works of art for her side company, BuyBeaded, or being the best bicoastal Zia to her sweet nephew Paul.
