We're getting married!

Our love story began on my 20th birthday! Things started as just a simple game night with friends when someone asked if their friend Aaron could join us after he was off work. Little did I know that when I said yes to that, that I would be meeting my future husband for the first time.

What felt like any other day during a drill weekend in Lincoln, I came home for my lunch break. When I walked in the door, the color of the bandana Leo was wearing caught my eye - it was different than it had been that morning when I left him. Aaron oddly urged me to read the bandana the moment I set my things down. I knelt down to read the bandana, and it read "Will you marry my daddy?" I asked him if he was serious, and that was when he got down on one knee, grabbed the ring from the knot on the bandana, and asked me if I would marry him.
