Brooke's grandma (Gigi) was talking to her neighbor about how Brooke was recently single and moving home. Gigi's neighbor (Cathy Barnes-Miller) happened to know of an eligible bachelor that she thought would be a great match for Brooke! Cathy, a family friend of the Gillens, gave Brooke's information to Ryan. Gigi told Brooke that Ryan was going to call her, even though Brooke knew no one called each other anymore. She was right, and Ryan sent her a DM on Instagram. We went on our first date a few weeks later, and have been together ever since!

We always knew we wanted to do a destination wedding. Temecula, CA is about an hour away from Palm Desert, where Brooke's grandparents live in the winter. Brooke and her wine-loving family have been going to this small but spectacular wine country for several years, and Brooke always dreamed of being married out there! We can't wait to show everyone around this beautiful area!
