Brandon and Nathan became friends through Edinburgh Fire Department. Brandon was Nathan's Lieutenant. However, Nathan wanted to know Brandon more because he thought he would be a good friend to have and he was right.

Lindsey and Brooke meet in preschool. From there they did everything together from youth group to cheer. Lindsey and Brooke always seem to connect even if they haven't seen each other for a while because they were both in college. They have a special friendship bond.

Michael and Nathan meet back in 2016. They instantly bonded over weightlifting. He then became a trooper and Nathan became a firefighter. Although their jobs didn't line up they kept in touch by making fun of each other's professions, a typical thing in public safety.

MaryElizabeth is Brooke's sister-in-law. When MaryElizabeth and Brooke meet they connected instantly over an amazing dessert Brooke introduced to MaryElizabeth. They were both very nervous and weren't sure what to talk about but connected so easily. Now they have a sisterly bond.

Cody is Nathan's future brother-in-law. Cody is also Brooke's older brother. As he is the big brother he has to give Nathan a hard time. However, they bond over cornhole, camping, and beer. Over the years they have grown close getting to know each other better and allowing their bond to grow strong.

Emarie is Brooke's younger cousin. They enjoy their time spent camping together. We share a similar interest in music and love going to Nashville, Tennessee. (It must run in the family) Emarie and Brooke have gained friendship over the years as they have grown older.

Riley and Nathan meet through Edinburgh Fire Department. Riley looked up to Nathan as a mentor with Nathan being a senior firefighter at the time. They started having a friendship outside of work realizing they shared very similar interests.

Josie is Brooke's younger cousin. Josie never fails to make Brooke laugh. Josie and Brooke love the relaxing days they have together by the poolside. They always have a great time when they are together. They cherish their time with one another.

Zach is Nathan's brother. They bond over their love for fishing. When they were younger Zach was in the Marine Corps so, Zach and Nathan cherished their time spent together. Nathan would visit his brother in California over the summer and loved every minute of it.

Brooke is Rich's only daughter so, she is his prized possession. Brooke will always be Rich's little girl. He will try to be tough and say he won't cry at the wedding but, Brooke knows he secretly will. Brooke absolutely loves the bond her father and future husband have together.

Nathan is Amy's firstborn child and only son. Growing up Amy supported her son in every way. Amy and her husband Eric are still a part of Nathan's main support system. Eric and Amy have been together for 15 years. Amy is excited to continue and be a part of Brooke and Nathan's support system as they grow in marriage.

Eric is Nathan's stepdad. Eric came into Nathan's life when Nathan was 5 years old. When Nathan was little Eric was Nathan's coach in soccer and baseball. Their love for sports grew their bond stronger. Eric being Nathan's coach gave him more than one role in Nathan's life. Nathan learned many core values growing up around Eric.
