Boats, boats, boats, plus fried seafood, watering holes, and great water views. You can catch the “Island Queen” ferry here for a delightful day trip to Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard to see the “gingerbread houses” in the Oak Bluffs Tabernacle. Highly recommended.
You can rent bikes on Rt. 151 right near the start of the trail. This 11-mile rail trail extends 11 miles to Woods Hole at the most southern tip of Falmouth. It’s an exquisite bike ride through woods, marshes, and alongside a beautiful beach on Martha’s Vineyard Sound, until the cute village of Woods Hole at the Martha’s Vineyard Ferry Terminal.
