Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa

The best part about our wedding venue is that it's also a resort! This hotel will be where our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all take place. We have a discounted room block, and although on the pricier side, these accommodations include free bike rentals, pools, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, workout classes and more! For guests only staying Saturday night, we'll be requesting early check-ins to accommodate our ceremony timing. Note: the website will reflect $40 for the resort fee, but you will only be charged $20 (our discounted fee). Reservations must be made by February 23, 2024. Flight

San Diego International Airport

The Coronado Marriott is about 10-15 minutes away from the San Diego airport. For guests traveling from LA, Coronado is about a 2.5 hour drive from LAX.

Rental Car

Rent a Car

If you intend to explore San Diego while in town, we recommend renting a car. The airport has a variety of different rental options. For getting around - Ubers and Lyfts are also plentiful in San Diego, so you definitely aren't required to rent a car. Downtown San Diego also has a ferry and a few public transportation options. Most folks also get around Coronado via bike, which are available to rent at the Marriott and around the island.

Coronado Ferry

For guests staying at the SpringHill Suites, the ferry is a great option! Ferry service runs between Broadway Pier (5 min walk from SpringHill Suites) and the Coronado Ferry Landing (5-10 min walk from Coronado Marriott wedding venue). The ferry ride itself is only about 10 minutes. For any guests staying in the Gaslamp Quarter, the ferry service between the Convention Center & Coronado Ferry Landing is a great option as well! Please just keep in mind the schedule, as it would likely make sense to take the ferry to the wedding, but take an Uber home since our festivities will go later than 10pm!
