Yes, our venue has implemented capacity restrictions and is following other CDC guidelines to ensure that guest safety is of our utmost priority. As a result, we have had to significantly reduce our guest list. We still plan to get married on December 12th and our smaller celebration will follow all venue, state, and federal guidance available at that time. If any additional changes are made, we will let guests know as soon as possible.
- The venue, which can normally accommodate up to 300 guests, is limiting its capacity by more than 50 percent. - We are planning to host the majority of the event outdoors or in open air tents, weather permitting. - All vendors and staff are required to wear masks and have their temperatures checked daily. - Masks will be required for all guests for any indoor portions of the event (except for once seated at a dinner table). - We will have Plexiglas shields at every bar and every food station. - A sanitation attendant will be present in all bathrooms. - Hand sanitizing stations will be set up throughout the venue. - All meals will be plated and served - no buffets or self-service stations to reduce high touch points and surface contamination. - The venue will be professionally sanitized/disinfected right before and after our event.
The ceremony, cocktail hour and dancing will all be hosted outside or on the club's veranda in open air tents.
If you are experiencing any flu-like or COVID-related symptoms, have known exposure to someone that has tested positive, or you yourself have tested positive in the 14 days before the wedding, we please ask that you not attend. We would much rather receive a last minute cancellation than risk the health and safety of our other guests. Additionally, any efforts to minimize your exposure in the two weeks leading up to the wedding would be greatly appreciated.
