What will the weather be like?

Answer

Texas Panhandle weather is very unpredictable, but expect it to be warm. Texas Panhandle lacks humidity like some of our East Coast guests are accustomed to, however the Texas sun is hot! Our ceremony will be outside, the reception will be in the air conditioning.

When will the reception end?

The reception will end at 10 P.M. An after party is planned at the SkyHouse Cabin, Canyon, TX. More details to come.

We would prefer your children stay at home.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the Mack Dick Pavilion. Parking is free.

Is there a fee to enter Palo Duro Canyon?

Answer

Entrance to Palo Duro Canyon State Park is $8/person. You can purchase a "Save the Day Pass" up to 30 days in advance on the Texas State Park's website.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

A hotel block at the Best Western Palo Duro Canyon Inn & Suites in Canyon, TX is available. Cabin reservations at Doves Rest Cabins are also available.

Will you be sending formal invitations?

Answer

No, the only correspondence we will have with our guests will be through email. Our save-the-date email was sent in October 2022, a second email was sent in March 2023.
