We met at a Tijuana Taxi Co. on a Friday night. Brooke was out with friends, and apparently Jaron knew some people Brooke was with so he decided to go join them. They sat two chairs away from each other the whole night, without much conversation. As Brooke was pulling out of the parking lot, Jaron decided to jump in front of her truck. When Brooke rolled her window down to ask if he was crazy, Jaron laughed. Jaron asked Brooke, "How will I know you got home safe if I don't have your phone number?" and they've talked ever since. Jaron asked Brooke to be his girlfriend at the St. David's carnival a week later on March 13th.

Jaron asked Brooke to marry him on the outlook at The Blowing Rock in North Carolina. They were joined by their families and were excited to share their engagement with people they loved most.

We will be having a very intimate wedding ceremony. Only our closest friends and family have been invited. We are so excited to share our big day with you all!
