When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you possibly can, it will give us a good idea of what to expect as far as chairs and food. RSVP as late as September 21st.

Are we aloud to bring outside food or drinks inside the venue with us?

Answer

The venue has kindly asked that we make sure all guests know that there will be NO food and drinks aloud to be brought inside the venue. Thank you for understanding.

We are registered! Its on our Zola website under "Registry"

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable so we welcome church attire / cocktail dresses / dress pants / ties and suits.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your RSVP says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it were just you.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please plan for a babysitter to make that a reality.

What are we having for dinner?

Answer

Dinner and Drink menus will be presented at the venue, Braised Rib as the main course.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

There is a vegetarian platter upon request ahead of time (When you rsvp). PLEASE make sure that if you would prefer the vegetarian option that BrookeLynn knows when you RSVP so that we have a head count in advance.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of close parking available at the venue. One less thing for you to worry about.

Will there be assigned seating at the ceremony or at the reception?

Answer

No! We want you to have the choice on where you sit all night. (8 people per table for dinner, just in case you want to try and plan ahead of time) There will be assigned tables for the family and wedding party only.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! What is a wedding without alcohol! Although there will be a cap, so we ask that you get as many drinks as you want earlier in the night.

Can we take photos during the ceremony and at the reception dinner?

Answer

Absolutely! We just ask that you silence your phones before entering the building.

How far away is the venue from Lexington?

Answer

The Legacy is just under an hour from Lexington.

Will the ceremony be outside?

Answer

No. The Ceremony, Cocktail hour, and Reception will all take place inside. There will be a large outside patio area to escape for fresh air in the reception hall if needed.

Is there a room for breast feeding mothers?

Answer

Yes! Any new mom is welcome in the bridal sweet that is right off the chapel area for a quiet and private area to pump or breast feed.
