We met and started dating in high school. There was an instant connection and we bonded over our love for UT, our common interest in listening to music, and - of course - Colin's original and unique sense of humor! After Colin graduated and went away to college at UT Knoxville, we dated long-distance until Brooke graduated high school and began attending UTK the next Fall.

As a "graduation" trip for Brooke, we went to Charleston, SC. Brooke didn't know it, but Colin had arranged everything in preparation to propose: he invited her friend Joy to photograph the engagement as it was happening and he invited her friend Tyler so they could all celebrate together afterward! When we get married this May, we will have been together for nearly 7.5 years. We have grown together from being high-school sweethearts to being adults who share common beliefs and goals. We've been through a lot together - good and bad - and we've given each other love and support through it all. We love just being together, whether it's going to concerts, traveling to new places, or hanging out doing nothing. We're best friends and we can't wait until we are husband and wife!
