Our story began at a small tech start-up located in Durango, CO. Austin was looking to start a new chapter out west, and Brooke had just finished up her studies at the University of Hawaii. Over the next 6 months, our friendship grew, meanwhile, work was going well and the company was to be acquired --our new home, we were told, would be Salt Lake City, UT. We were the two first team members to make the move, and from there, it became Saturday pool & chardonnay + frequent flights to SFO.

We had just expanded our family with our first puppy, Otter, who little did I know would be a big part of the proposal. Very simple, very sweet, I came home from work one day when Otter came running up to me, Austin said "Babe Otter has a rash on his neck" and when I looked down that sparkly beauty was around his neck. Of course, I dropped to the floor and immediately started crying. Austin got down on a knee, and said a few special words that we both blacked out from nerves and excitement, something along the lines of "we built this beautiful life together and I want to spend my life with you". After of course saying yes, we cried tears of joy, immediately went to our closest friends houses (who both live .3 miles away from us), and forced them all to my sister's house where we surprised my sister, brother-in-law, and parents with the news. It was perfect, we love nothing more than celebrating life's biggest moments with our family and friends. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Durango!
