Maid of Honor
I have known Kayla since the 7th grade! We quickly became friends and then were inseparable. All of my best memories growing up had Kayla and Jayme in them. We have had some amazing times together. Kayla is the type of friend you can call any hour of the day or night and she will be there for you. I can call her with happy news, and we will celebrate. I can call her crying, and she is there to listen or give advice if needed. She will always have my back no matter what.
Matron of Honor
I have known Jayme since the 7th grade. She and Kayla were always together. Soon it was the 3 of us hanging out all the time. In the summer of 2010 Jayme took me to see Helen Keller’s house in Alabama. It was an amazing experience and I am so glad I got to share it with her. Jayme also volunteered at Camp Lions the first year I did, in 2010. She was my first friend to meet Bronson. Jayme has been by my side through so many stages of my life.
Bridesmaid
Jessie is what I like to call my WombMate! We are fraternal twin sisters. Jessie is 9 minutes older than me and a whole head taller than me. Jessie and I used to play dress up together and sing to Disney music. We would often have fashion shows with MTV on in the background, back when they actually played music videos. Jessie has an amazing bond with animals. She is also an extremely gifted groomer. Everyone always asks what it is like having a twin. I would have to say, it is nice to have someone that can relate to you based on shared life experiences.
Bridesmaid
Danielle and I became very good friends in high school. We would eat lunch together on the floor in the band hallway everyday with Kayla and Jayme. Danielle has such a fun personality and is so easy to get along with. She is an amazing friend and really wants to see all of her friends happy and celebrates their successes. I am so grateful to call her my friend.
Bridesmaid
When I moved to Rockford I met Tes in summer school. Although summer school was a terrible experience, getting an amazing friend like Tes out of it was great. We lost touch for a year or two and then we reconnected and have been friends ever since. I love that Tes says it like it is. She is a strong independent woman and I feel like she has helped me become more outspoken. One memory with her that I love is when she taught me how to make baklava. I am so happy she is teaching at one of the schools I teach at so I can stop in and see her everyday. Tes really helped me feel at home in Rockford. I missed being able to see my friends from my hometown so much, and it was nice to have such a strong friendship with someone here.
Bridesmaid
I met Caylah in a Signing Husky Deaf Pride Zoom call in 2020 or 2021. She reached out to me and asked if I would practice sign language with her. Little did I know we would become instant friends. She is the type of friend that you go on adventures with. And by adventures I mean, 8 hour trips to IKEA, a trip to the hidden waterfall in Elgin, going to the grocery store just to help each other get tasks done. Even doing the most basic tasks we still have an amazing time together. Time flies when we are having fun. She is a great listener and gives great advice.
