Flight
While there are a number of airports around London, Heathrow is the most common for international flights. There is a direct train line, the Heathrow Express, which connects the airport to London Paddington train station.
Train
Oxford has a train station a short walk from the city center. There are regular direct train routes between London stations and Oxford. The journey takes about an hour, and tickets can be purchased in advance or at the station.
Travel Note
If traveling via London Heathrow, the Airline bus runs to/from Terminal 5 and the central bus stop serving Terminals 2 & 3 directly to Oxford. Tickets can be reserved online in advance or bought on the coach using contactless payment.
Hotel
We have worked to secure a discount code at The Randolph Hotel. The Randolph is conveniently located in the heart of Oxford, across the street from the Ashmolean Museum and a short walk from the ceremony venue at the Bodleian Libraries. Other Oxford city hotels include Courtyard by Marriott Oxford City Centre, The Parsonage Inn, and the Old Bank Hotel on the High Street. You can additionally find smaller bed and breakfasts as well as AirBnBs in the city, but we recommend booking in advance as Oxford is a popular destination, particularly close to summer.
