Question

What should I wear to an Indian Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

We would love for you celebrate and enjoy our culture should you wish to purchase and wear traditional Indian clothes. This is completely optional and a personal choice so please do not feel pressured! Your comfort is important to us, so please feel free to wear formal Western wear if that is most comfortable for you. In terms of themes, the setting of the ceremony is tentatively outside with fall and/or neural decor. Avoid bright colors and red for the day of the ceremony, as this is what the bride will be wearing. We appreciate your participation! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, the hotel has a free parking lot for all guests attending!

Question

What is a Baraat?

Answer

You may have seen a groom's procession with a horse and/or car and dancing - this is called a Baraat. Sachin, his family & friends usher him to the wedding venue and will be met by the bride's family & friends. It signifies the start of the wedding ceremony

Question

What kind of gifts are given for an Indian wedding?

Answer

During this special moment in our lives, your presence at our wedding is more than enough to make our day. If you would like to honor us with a gift, we are kindly requesting no boxed gifts, which is a familiar Indian wedding custom.
