We're getting married!

We met in college at Missouri State University. Although simply friends during those memorable years, it was home that reconnected us. Fast forward to 2017, a couple of years after graduation, and many months of keeping in touch, we started attending concerts, staying out late at our favorite bars, seeing movies, sharing tacos and margaritas at Mission Taco until we realized our relationship could be something really special. Our feelings were undeniable, a friendship slowly growing into something much more. Since New Year's Eve 2018, we haven't looked back. We have truly been blessed beyond compare; we share a beautiful home that we built together and welcomed an amazing puppy, Scout, into our family. We cannot wait to celebrate our love with you on April 17th, 2021!

*As told by Brittany* Nolan knows better than anyone, trying to plan a surprise for me is borderline impossible. For the proposal, he knew he would have to catch me off guard someway or somehow. It was especially important to Nolan to have this proposal be a surprise because the ring was something him and I decided to pick out together as a couple. There had to be some element of surprise, right? So when I tell you that he woke me up on a Sunday morning at 6:45AM kneeling next to our bed while I slept, it might make a bit more sense. The proposal was thoughtful and perfect; right in our home that we built together and with our puppy, who we love so much. The surprise wasn't quite over yet though, that afternoon, our families and many of our closest friends came by for food and drinks to celebrate our engagement! It was truly an amazing day that I will never forget.
