We encourage you to wear your summer "Sunday Best" appropriate for an outdoor event, and shoes you can walk safely and comfortably in! We will have a "hydration station" at the bottom of the trail to help with the long-ish walk and summer heat, but you are also welcome to bring your own water bottle to the ceremony.
Please plan to arrive no later than 3:30pm due to the travel time from the parking lot to the ceremony location. Wedding guests are allowed free entry into the park one hour before the ceremony, so we encourage you to come early and do some sight-seeing! Parking is located in front of the Visitor's Center, and the entrance to the bridge trail (Cedar Creek Trail) is to the left around the back of the building. You may also go through the Visitor's Center to get to the trail entrance. The trail to the ceremony location is approximately .25 miles and includes stairs (descending on the way, ascending on the way back). If you or your guest has any mobility restrictions that would make the walk difficult, please let us know at least two weeks in advance and we can provide you vehicle transportation from the parking lot to the ceremony location! Restrooms are located in the Visitor's Center and the Cedar Creek Pavilion on the trail.
Cocktail Hour/Reception

The hotel is across the street from the Visitor's Center. You may keep your car in the Visitor's Center parking lot and walk the sidewalk to the hotel, or you can move your car to the hotel parking lot. Enter through the lobby, and the Jefferson Ballroom will be on the right! The cocktail hour will start once the ceremony is over and last until the reception starts and the wedding party enters. After the first dance, dinner will be served!
