Our story begins in Ocean Grove, NJ working as lifeguards for the Ocean Grove Beach Patrol on Bench 2. If you're familiar with lifeguarding, you know that while watching the water, half of the job is entertaining the person next to you. We sat together every single day and needless to say, we got to know each other very well. There was never a dull moment, we were constantly making each other laugh and obviously, the ocean was safe. At the end of summer 2015, right before Britt was about to go back to college, Drew asked Britt out on a first date to get sushi. Britt inhaled her meal before Drew was even halfway done with his... 3.5 years of a long-distance relationship continued while Britt finished up with grad-school. Soon after, we bought our first house together, which takes us to present day. We cannot wait to get married on the same beach where our story began.

Living together for almost a year, we talked about marriage and knew it was in our future. On a beautiful Tuesday in March, Britt came from work to Drew waiting in the window. In preparation for the big question, he had decorated the house with the ring on display. Playing in the background, was the most perfect song that Drew had chosen and asked if it could be our wedding song. Britt was 100% surprised. Goes to show you that sometimes the most amazing things happen when you least expect it. It was the most special, spontaneous proposal on the most beautiful day. Thrilled, we called our families and celebrated that night inside the house we now call our home.
