Our wedding will take place on Gibson Island, which is a very special place. Many of our friends and neighbors have graciously offered to provide bedrooms in their homes for our wedding guests on Friday and Saturday so that you can stay on Island over the entire weekend without cost, aside from a modest housekeeping fee. We are happy to pair your family unit to stay with an Island neighbor for the weekend! You would be welcome to "check in" at noon on Friday or later. If you select "Will Attend" when RSVPing, then we will reach out to coordinate a perfect placement for you. Please select "Will Not Attend" when RSVPing to indicate that you have secured your own lodging or cannot join us for the wedding weekend at all.
Welcome Reception

Please join us for beer, wine, and snacks in an upscale atmosphere with live music. We are glad to pick you up on a shuttle from the Gibson Island Clubhouse at 7:00 PM or from Cypress Creek Park in Severna Park (11 Cypress Creek Road) at 7:30 PM. We will proceed to the welcome reception as a group in order to avoid heavy traffic in Annapolis due to a concurrent boat show event. For "early bedtime" guests, we will offer return transportation home departing Blackwall Hitch at 9:30 PM, with a stop at Cypress Creek Park in Severna Park and then onward to arrive on Gibson Island by 10:15 PM. For "late bedtime" guests, we will offer transportation home departing Blackwall Hitch at 11:00 PM, with the stop in Severna Park and then onward to arrive on Gibson Island by 11:45 PM.

Attire suggestions: Casual. The venue is a covered pavilion beside a strip of sandy beach, which guests may wish consider with regard to footwear.
We look forward to welcoming you for a casual breakfast. Arrive anytime between 7:00 - 10:00 AM!
Island Recreational Activities

We are excited to host organized outdoor activities during the daytime on Saturday, prior to the wedding. Aside from any of these activities, you are welcome to walk or bike on your own; go to the beach; practice putting or hitting balls on the driving range; or simply relax!
Wedding Ceremony & Reception
4:30 pm

Attire: Black-tie. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors on a grass lawn. Ladies may wish to consider this when selecting footwear.
We ask that guests arrive no later than 4:00 PM to enjoy a glass of champagne and to be seated. The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. A shuttle service will depart from Cypress Creek Park in Severna Park (11 Cypress Creek Road) at 3:20 PM, with service directly to Gibson Island for the ceremony. Two rounds of return shuttle service will be provided back to Severna Park following the reception, with an early-return option departing Gibson Island at 9:30 PM and a late-return option departing Gibson Island at 11:30 PM.
