Dulles International Airport is a bit of distance away from the DC but travelers can now get to/from the airport via the Silver Line of the Metro (Stop Name: Washington Dulles International Airport).

The Baltimore/Washington International Airport is the furthest away from Washington, DC but it usually has the most flights going in and out of the Washington/Baltimore area. If you choose to fly to this airport, we suggest taking the Amtrak or the MARC train to DC or rent a car.

Taking the train can be cost-effective and super convenient! It's pretty close to the wedding location and the Metro is located in the same building. If you do choose to take the train, please selection WAS - Union Station as your final destination.

In the Washington, DC area, most use the Metro to get around the city. Most fares are anywhere from $2.00-$4.00 depending on the distance during the week and a $2.00 flat rate on the weekends.
Travel Note
Uber or Lyft is the main source of transportation, outside of the metro, in DC! Tip: Riders can divide the cost of the ride directly through either app. This is a great option if you have a lot of people in your party!
