Is there a room block at the Riu Palace?

YES! At Riu Palace Aruba, we have a room block where you can book your stay at a discounted price. Please go to our TRAVEL page for step-by-step instructions on how to book through our travel agent Sharon through Barefoot Bridal! All travel agent bookings must be paid in full by August 1. The Travel page will have more information on this!

Do we need to stay on property?
Answer
Greaty appreciated yes please! As this was booked as a wedding group our contract states that 85% of guests must stay on property to secure the wedding date and ceremony. Please keep this in mind when booking for your trip as there is a day pass fee of around $130pp if you choose not to stay on the property and may miss our welcome party & pool day. How long do we need to stay for?

How long you wish to travel for is completely up to you. The hotel through our travel agent has a minimum stay of 3 nights. The RIUS min night stay is 5! The wedding will be on November 9th with some events TBD but these are only optional the time is completely yours to enjoy your vacation they way you want to!

Are children invited?
Answer
Unfortunately we have a very strict guest list due to capacity reasons of the venue. We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitations. Children are welcome to ARUBA of course as this is your vacation child care will not be provided. Thank you for understanding!

I know can't make it to the wedding , should I R.S.V.P. in advance?
Answer
Yes please! This will give us a better idea for planning purposes given the destination we realize traveling is not possible for everyone's budget, families and schedules. We absolutely understand those who are unable to attend in-person, and hoping to celebrate here before or after but that will be TBD. Anyone who can't make it we will celebrate in spirit and will be missed!
