The Encinitan Hotel & Suites
We have secured a room block at the Encinitan. After checking several hotels in the area, this is the best option we've found in terms of price and location. It is a 15 minute drive to the wedding venue, and nearby some other events we'll host over the weekend. Also, Brian and Irene will be staying here! La Valle Coastal Club
This option is much closer to the venue and at the same rate as the Encinitan - $180/night, with an additional "resort fee" of $25. If you are not planning to join for many of the other activities over the weekend, but you are planning to be there for the wedding, this may be a better option! Please call (858)756-2471 ext 0 and refer to the Ford Whalen Wedding. Must book by March 25th to secure the rate.
Flight
San Diego International Airport
If you are flying in, the easiest option is typically SAN (San Diego International Airport). To get to the venue, we recommend a rental car, or rideshare. We will try to keep most events in North County San Diego, so ideally once you get to the hotel, most things should be walking distance or have a shuttle.

We'll have a few shuttles at the end of the night after the reception. Heading back to the Encinitan, and over to the Union for those who want to continue the party!
