Where to Stay

The Jersey Shore is best experienced on the shore! There is a wide range of options in the area – bungalows, beach front homes, small historic inns, bed & breakfasts and tiny sea shore hotels. We've included here information on some great options that are steps to the beach or nestled in adorable downtown areas. We've provided some background on each town as well to help you choose! Asbury Park: Great restaurants, quirky downtown, history + nightlife Belmar + Bradley Beach: Beach front bars + quick bites, boardwalks + long beaches Avon-by-the-Sea, Sea Girt + Spring Lake: Quiet, quaint towns with shopping, restaurants and family friendly beaches Manasquan: Charming downtown + the best beach (Brigit worked here, so may be biased) Point Pleasant Beach: The classic New Jersey Boardwalk with rides, games + more Additionally, there are some more traditional hotel options nearby, though these are a bit of a drive away from the events. We've also included links to those below!

Flight

Newark Airport

Newark is probably your best bet if you're coming in from out of town. All major airlines fly here, and both Alaska and United have direct flights from the west coast and their own terminals. From Newark, it's either a hop onto NJ Transit for an hour and 45 minute ride on the North Jersey Coast line, or an hour by Lyft, Uber or car. Philly or JFK also work if you need a different option, just don't subject yourself to La Guardia.

Train

North Jersey Coast Line

If you're coming down from the city or Newark Airport on Saturday, the Belmar train station is closest to the venue. Lyft and Uber are widely available throughout the area.

House Or Rental

AirBnB or VRBO

Post-Labor Day at the Jersey shore means a lot of cute beach front or beach-near bungalows and homes are open on AirBnB or VRBO. They're a great option if you want to stay in town or have access to a yard. Check out our note on this page for some background on towns nearby. While it seems like a big list, each town is anywhere from 1mi to 5mi square, so they're all along about a 20 minute stretch of shore roads.
