On St. Patrick's Day 2022, we were at Kings Tavern and Colin brought his mom to celebrate in the festivities. Brigid, having arrived earlier, had already indulged in quite a few Guinness. (Keep in mind - we were not engaged at this point) Susan was out amongst our friends and she looked like she was having a great time. Brigid asked how she would feel about a St. Patrick's Day wedding - and Susan beamed at the idea "I love it," she said. Once we were engaged, we sought out a travel agent and told her our ideal date was St. Patrick's Day 2024. She worked with us to find a resort, but we weren't able to get our date. It was disappointing to say the least, but we planned ahead. When Susan got sick in March 2023, we put our Mexican destination wedding on hold knowing it would be too difficult for Susan to join us. She told us she would be happy with whatever we chose to do whether it was in Mexico or stateside. After much thought and consideration, we decided that we wanted to have a small wedding to include Susan in - one that she gave her blessing for. Ultimately, with St Patrick's Day on a Sunday in 2024, we pivoted to Saturday, March 16. We hoped and prayed she would be with us, but we lost her in August. Her spirit - along with Mike O'Reilly's and Tim Clare's were there too. Ultimately, we knew our small wedding was going to be incredibly emotional. But, we knew we wanted to celebrate with you all Labor Day Weekend. We hope you'll join us for a fun and relaxing, good time!

As Colin will tell anyone, we had the best 3 hour first date ever. It was an instant connection. We bonded over family names, growing up in the Capital Region and SPAC, Siena (mostly that Brigid only went to basketball camp there and it was "too close to go to school there"), losing our dads when we were young, and ultimately - how we've been in so many of the same places at the same time - but never met until we swiped right.
