Family and friends after 14 years we are finally able to welcome you to our wedding. Most of you will know our story as of now but for those of you who are extra intrigued, we have a tale that’s considerably lengthy and, oddly enough, begins with some stolen Skittles. You see, I have a fascination with red Skittles and while on a high school band trip to Canada, Bridgette decided to steal a 5 pound bag of skittles from me. I had painstakingly eaten all of the colors, except one, revealing a bag of pure red glory. Bridgette never questioned why there was only red Skittles and when I realized that the bag was gone I slightly fell for a kool-aide, red lip stained Bridgette. In loosing that bag of skittles I gained a friend. While on the journey through the rest of high school, where Bridgette and I started dating, we found comfort in the simplicity of our relationship. This continued through 3 college degrees, 1 doctorate, and soon to be another doctorate. While my Skittles have never been replaced, (shocker right?) I have gained something much greater. For this reason I have to thank a teenaged Bridgette for stealing my skittles. Dave
