It was October of 2012 when Lauren and Sean met at a Halloween sorority date party. Lauren took a friend as a date and in an attempt to set her up with one of the baseball players, she asked "What about Bozi?" Lauren replied "Who the heck is Bozi?" They started hanging out in the same group, but were merely acquaintances for the subsequent year. It wasn't until the following summer that Sean reached out on Facebook and asked for Lauren's number... very romantic ;). Sean continued his run of chivalry by asking Lauren out on their first date... to Olive Garden. They shared breadsticks, minestrone soup, and many laughs before meeting up with two of their best friends today, Justin and Ashlee, for a movie night. The next chapter included graduations, first jobs, promotions, almost 2 years of long-distance, a big move to Spokane, a home purchase, and a furry addition to the family. Each challenge brought a new opportunity for growth, and the relationship flourished. Sean proposed on December 28th, 2019, in San Diego, overlooking Petco Park, where so many great memories have been made with friends and family. Sean flew Lauren's parents in for the proposal to join Sean's parents, sister, and sister's boyfriend for the big surprise.
