Finally! Were getting married!

We met in high school. Santiago was sitting on the benches in the hallway by the princpals office when i walked by. He was wearing white and orange Nike 3.0 shoes, i then complimented him.. “i like your shoes.” I sat next to him and asked to use his phone, where i sneakely added my phone number and gave it back to him and went about my day. A few days later it was his birthday, August 30th. I wished him a happy birthday on his facebook and told him to text me. Text me he did, “how did i get your number?” I told him how and thats how we started talking. Santiago worked at the burley fair grounds at the time, and i happened to be there with a friend for the carnivals “buddy day”. I let him know i was there and wanted to hang out with him. So he went home, showered, and came back to the fair grounds to find me. It was just about midnight and i almost had to leave, so we went on to ride the faris wheel. While getting on i hit my head so hard and was so embarrased. We ended the ride with a kiss (so cliche but for me romantic.♥️) At around 2am we were talking on the phone and he asked me to be his girlfriend. August 17, 2014. Fastforward to November 20th 2016.. He dropped my daughter and i off at my moms house for the evening. And when he came back to pick us up, we sat in the driveway for a while talking a bit. He mentioned how we spent alot of time in the drive way in his car throughout junior year, and then randomly asked me to get the car paperwork out because he wanted to see something about it.. when i opened the glove box, there was a box with a gold bow waiting for me to see. He asked me to marry him right then and there. Of course i said YES! (Prior to this moment, he and my mom had sneakily talked about rings and the kind of cut i liked. I overheard them slightly but when i asked what they were talking about they quickly said “nothing!”) 3 years later we’re finally tieing the knot! October 18, 2019 is our date and we couldn’t be more excited!
