Mauricio knew well enough to propose to Brianna at an intimate and private location. Austin has this beautiful spring with a spring located at the end of a nature trail, but the trick was planning a trip with Brianna without raising any suspicions. Mauricio (with the express permission of his direct manager) fabricated a work email inviting them both to an awards cocktail ceremony, complete with paid hotel accommodations. Next was to slyly suggest the hiking trail located a short drive away since they had the whole weekend to explore! Luckily Brianna took the bait and before you could say 'I do' they had their bags packed and hit the road. The hard part was done, their cocktail attire was packed and all that was left to do was execute (and hike to the waterfall). Mauricio may have gotten lost a few times on the trail trying to guide them to the fated destination, but between strokes of anxiety and whimsy they made it. Funny enough, they noticed a couple ahead were right in the middle of their own proposal! In that moment, doubt and trepidation that the moment was ruined entered Mauricio's mind. Then another thought entered, the day had been perfect and Brianna as beautiful as ever. The other couple had left them alone with the quiet tranquility of the spring, Mauricio had only one question to ask. "Do you want some water?" Brianna replied, "no thanks baby!" and turned to bask in the moment. Mauricio kneeled down feigning to grab water, and reached for a blue box with her ring in it. As he pulled it out, Brianna turned and Mauricio asked the real question they traveled and hiked to ask.
