Brianna and Dustin met at Centre College and became fast friends. Little did they know that they would reconnect after college and their friendship would not only rekindle but progress into a loving relationship. Brianna and Dustin can often be found on outdoor adventures together. They mutually love spending their free time fishing, hiking, and kayaking, or stopping at local restaurants for some brews and music. Though they would normally release the fish they catch, both have agreed they will never release the catch of a lifetime - each other.

Dustin decided the best place to "pop the question" would be the place where it all began, at Centre College in Danville, KY. Dustin got down on one knee over the Centre Seal, a special brass emblem embedded in the walkway in front of Old Centre (an iconic building & location on campus- where the Honor Walk takes place). There are many myths and traditions surrounding the seal; for example, students avoid stepping on the seal during their time at Centre because it is believed that stepping on the seal would spell disaster for the remainder of their college career. Some have said that two students will marry at some point following graduation if, at the stroke of midnight, they kiss over the seal. It's safe to say that Centre Dear has a special place in the evolution of Dustin and Brianna's relationship, and serves as a beautiful and symbolic backdrop for their engagement photos and promising future together.
