We ask that all guests please take a COVID test to protect the Bride and Groom as well as each other. If you are experiencing symptoms we ask that you stay home to prevent any transmission. We will miss you at the wedding but hope to see you at future events.
We would assume you are saying "no" because of the missed deadline. You will be missed at the wedding and we hope to see you in the future.
Please arrive on the time stated on the invitation as the ceremony will begin promptly. To ensure you have a seat and are able to attend the ceremony we ask you to be at least 45 minutes to an hour early to start on time. If you aren't on time, you unfortunately won't be allowed into the church to attend the ceremony.
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and to accommodate all guests. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you need clarification on who is included on your RSVP you can contact our coordinator Sinnika Diego.
Unfortunately due to space limitations, we are having an adults-only reception. The only children attending are those who are part of our wedding party. We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style! Thank you for understanding!
Yes! Please arrive for BOTH the ceremony and reception. We would love your presence at both events to celebrate us and so you can be in the moment with us.
The ceremony will have a large parking lot for guests to park. The reception has free lot parking as well.
Yes it will, we have entrusted a great photographer and videographer to capture all the sweet moments and ask that you can sit back, relax and enjoy it with us. Our beautiful images will be available after the wedding. Please silence all phones before the start of the ceremony as well.
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. Men can wear navy blue, black or grey suits. We will also have a color scheme attached to the invitations where you can see the color scheme we would like everyone to wear. Please no jeans, white (cream, ivory, eggshell, off white, etc) outfits, black dresses for ladies, t shirts, tennis shoes/sneakers, or sandals (flip flops, slides).
Yes! We have a registry linked on our website where you can purchase gifts that we will cherish and also contribute to our honeymoon fund. We are also registered at Crate & Barrel, Amazon, Target, Pottery Barn, and Williams Sonoma. You can also purchase a gift card for any of the above listed stores or any other gift cards listed on the registry. If you visit those websites to view our registry you can search under our names, Brianna Gaye and Asahel Valdez.
Yes, our theme is Modern Rustic Garden. We will have our color scheme for you to choose from. Our colors are Sage, Dusty Blue, Mauve and Rose Gold as an accent color. We request that our guests wear light/spring colors since it is an April/Spring wedding.
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for about 45 minutes to an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception venue where we will be serving dinner and beverages.
We will have specialty cocktail that represents Asahel and Brianna, beer, wine and other options you may want. We have a pre-paid tab for the bar and once that tab has been reached it does turn into a cash bar. Please bring cash if you would like to purchase drinks later in the evening.
Although our ceremony is unplugged, we encourage guests to post pictures after the ceremony and during the reception on to their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #AisleGoWithValdez or tag either Asahel or myself so we can keep track of all of your pictures! We will also have a google photos page set up where you can post all the pictures there so we can have a glimpse into the day. Here is a link to the album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/pX7wZiQNTTV8W6Lb9
If you are too intoxicated to the point of you are unable to drive home or to your hotel, the reception space has allowed us to inform you that you can leave your car overnight and return the next day to pick it up. If we see that you are unable to drive home or to your hotel, we will hold your keys & we will get you an Uber or have you carpool with someone home and/or to a hotel. No exceptions!
