Welcome!

We had gone to the same high school and knew of each other, but our paths had never crossed until one day in the rock climbing gym several years later. Brian struck up a conversation and we realized that we knew each other from high school! We started climbing together which led us to becoming friends outside of the gym. With the offer of a home cooked meal by Brian, we had our first real date and the rest is history!

Brian spontaneously asked about going up to the top of Mt. Evans to have a picnic and watch the sunset. It was a 90 degree day in Denver, but by the time we got to the top of the mountain the temperature had dropped to 40 degrees. We walked around a bit at the top and were about to set up for the sunset when a mountain goat appeared! After several photos, we started to get ready for the sunset but then snow started blowing in! We retreated part of the way down the mountain until we found a good spot. Brian said he was going to get a time lapse of the sunset but the cameras were pointed at me instead! He asked for a hug and then got down on one knee and proposed... I said yes!
