Brian proposed to DeAnna one beautiful night after a romantic dinner in Athens, Greece, on a balcony overseeing the lit-up Acropolis. This was the first stop of their two-week vacation in Europe and what DeAnna did not know is Brian had planned a surprise engagement photo session the following day on the dreamy blue domes of Santorini. The night before they were destined to travel, the departing ferry was cancelled hours before departure. Deanna did not know about the surprise awaiting her, but Brian heroically stepped in and saved the day by booking the last few seats on the only flight to Santorini. Brian and Deanna made it to Santorini right on schedule and got to enjoy the breath-taking sunset overlooking the Aegean Sea. It was then that Brian surprised Deanna with a special engagement photography session with the towering backdrop of the rugged cliffs of Santorini. Santorini was the perfect island to capture breathtaking moments shared between Brian and Deanna.

Brian and Deanna met in July 2022 where they quickly realized they shared similar interests and values. They both loved traveling and engaging in a healthy lifestyle. On just their third date Brian invited Deanna on what was described as an "easy" bike ride through the Texas hill country. About 5 miles into the ride Deanna noticed a large hill ahead of her, but she was not one to turn down a good challenge, so she pressed forward. Deanna climbed and conquered that hill to impress her date, Brian. Brian and Deanna biked an "easy" 20 miles that day and Deanna quickly learned to love this new sport of road biking. Riding their bikes together became a weekend affair and before too long Deanna hit her longest bike ride to date at over 70 miles. Brian and Deanna would soon embark on more adventures that included skiing, hiking, and off roading. They both were excited to have someone to share these special moments with. Some of their most cherished moments include Deanna meeting Brian in Santa Monica, CA at the finish line where he successfully completed a 500mile fundraising bike ride over the course of 7 days. Deanna admired Brian for his hard work and determination. Brian accompanied Deanna in Corpus Christi, TX for a lake triathlon and later in San Antonio, TX for another triathlon and one-half marathon. Together they participated in L'etape San Antonio Tour De France. Most rememberable trip to date was when Brian and Deanna planned a two-week trip to Europe in September 2023 and Brian proposed in Greece! He then set up an engagement photography session in Santorini to capture their special moment. Two years after Brian and Deanna they embarked on a new adventure with their Siberian Husky Elektra and moved to the east coast of North Carolina where they made a new home together. They both take pride in their work, but also find time to have weekly date nights and dinner at the table. Their love and friendship have continued to grow and they look forward to their future having a family of their own.
