Co - Maid of Honor
Big Sister, My first friend. My partner in crime. She is someone who will always be here for you. Someone you can call when things aren’t going right; is more than just family; a sister is a forever friend. ❤️❤️
Co-Best Man
Being Brian’s younger brother, I have had the fortune of having him as a friend my entire life, and unfortunately for him, he had to endure 3 years of Nathaniel-less life. Growing up, we got along quite well, mainly because I learned very early on that Brian is a lot stronger than I am. I always looked up to Brian and would copy almost anything he did (which is a good thing as Brian is a great role model to look up to). I am so excited to watch him and Amanda continue into their next adventure together!
Co - Matron of Honor
I, Kelsey Dart (nèe Sloan), will be serving as a co-maid of honor and am Amanda's “chosen” sister. We go way back and have been friends for over 11 years. I met Amanda in our freshman year Spanish class at Bothell High School. We didn’t get to know each other until sophomore year, but through the preview of my quirky personality and appreciation for music (at this time was Enrique Iglesias) Amanda and I knew we would be fast friends. Watch out on the wedding day - I will probably be humming one tune or another! Over our years of friendship, we have bonded over manicures, food, and HomeGoods. I am a proud special education teacher. When I am not teaching I am running, hiking, or reading a good book.

I met Bri-guy at UW 6 years ago! We both attended events hosted by IVU, one of the many college campus fellowships that Brian used to frequent back in the day. Pretty sure we both knew we'd be bros after an entire event was spent discussing the deeper details of every marvel movie that had been released. Eventually we became roommates at the now famously infamous "La Casa de Hombre" but many a good times were had. My favorite memory would probably have to be the 2016 Stanley cup Playoff run, another mutual interest that we as brothers naturally shared. When you gain 15 pounds of pure beer and poutine weight with someone you're bonded for life. I'm happy to say that friendship has only grown stronger.

Hi I’m Jessi and I love going on adventures in nature! I’ve lived in Washington my entire life and I first met Amanda when she moved to Bothell in 8th grade. She needed a friend in science class and I was excited to see a new girl tall like me! Turns out she just liked to wear really high heels, but I decided we could be friends anyways. Over the years I’ve had many adventures with Amanda across Seattle and Western Washington. We’ve hiked to Snow Lake, Lake Ingalls, Denny Creek, Colchuck Lake, and Nada Lake. Notice the theme - Amanda always insists on hiking to water! Despite attending rival state colleges and being 300 miles apart, we’ve stayed bestest friends and I am excited to help Amanda celebrate the beginning of her long life with Brian!

Brian and I met during Brian's freshman year of college. He was living in my dorm and started attending the dorm Bible study we were doing with Intervarsity. He was one of the friendliest freshmen we had so we nicknamed him Buddy Brian. He was oddly into rugby and marching band, but we hung out with him anyway. Later on we lived together in the notorious Casa and now we celebrate our below average golf play as often as we can.

I met Amanda at UW and we became close during a Women in Leadership course, I'd had an emotional response to an assignment and Amanda reached out to me later, even though we weren't close at the time. that act of selflessness and caring was overwhelmingly touching - after that, there was no way I COULDN'T be friends with her. Brian is cool too, I guess.

I met Brian while attending the University of Washington (UW). We both lived in the dorms and were quite involved in a small group Bible study. This was my favorite year at UW. A large part of that was due to the close-knit Small Group that Brian and I attended. We spent a lot of time doing homework, watching movies, playing games, and studying the Word. Two of Brian’s defining characteristics are his kind and amiable nature, and most importantly, his steady following of Jesus Christ. In college it is very easy to get distracted by the world and your faith is tested perhaps for the first time. Who is there to encourage you to go to church every Sunday? Who holds you accountable to God’s Word and His commands? In my experience it was men like Brian. He made the difference.

My name is Micaela, though most people call me Micky. I met Amanda in grade school, while growing up in the suburbs north of Chicago. Quickly Amanda, Meaghan and I became solid and faithful friends. It’s hard to recount all the sleepovers, costume parties, movies, cooking sessions, and hang outs that marked our middle school years. I remember when Amanda told us her family was moving to Washington, I was worried our group and friendship would suffer. However, we were blessed to be able to reunite and resume where we’d left off. I moved to Washington state about three years ago for work. I have always been grateful to have Amanda and her family nearby as I’ve started a new chapter of life in an unfamiliar place. And I thank God to be able to support Amanda through such a momentous occasion

I met Amanda right after she moved to Washington and I haven’t been able to shake her ever since. We ran with the same crowd in high school and stayed friends in college through a campus ministry group called Reformed University Fellowship. Eventually, she started bringing along Brian who went on to become her boyfriend, fiancé, and soon her husband. Brian and I quickly bonded over sports (mainly football and his weird Canadian sports), beer, and the Bible as he became our small group leader after we graduated from UW. I respect their wisdom, godliness, and determination a great deal and I can’t wait to support them on their special day!

Meaghan is an aspiring diplomat who is so excited to be able to support her friend on this special day. Meaghan and Amanda first met at Woodland Middle School, and became fast friends thanks to middle school cafeterias, a love for Twilight, middle school dances (called FNA's) and the lasting power of sleepovers. Their friendship is one that comes easily regardless of living on different sides of the country/world for the past fourteen years. Whenever they see each other, they pick up where they left off like no time has passed at all!

Calob and Brian met through Reformed University Fellowship at the University of Washington back in 2014. Over time, Calob and Brian connected over a mutual love of fine whiskey and beers, often-obscure theological debates, and all things football: the continued bonding over all three (often at the same time) has been a bright spot in an otherwise-challenging 2020.

I can't remember the first time I met Amanda, I just remember how smooth of a transition it was incorporating her into the family and I think it speaks to how much of a presence she's been in my life for the past 6+ years. She has been nothing but an absolute amazing friend and someone I can look up to. I have loved making meals with Amanda, spending holidays together and attending UW football games with both of our families. With only older brothers, I absolutely loved having Amana as an older sister figure and I can't wait to have her officially in the family! Can't wait to make more memories with her <3

Over the years, Brian has changed from just Amanda’s boyfriend to one of my good friends. Brian and I quickly bonded over golf, craft beer, and arguing about why WSU has a better football team, which is very obvious. Most importantly, Brian has gained my trust and I am 100% certain he will be there to support Amanda. Congratulations Amanda and Brian! I can’t wait to support you on your big day. Welcome to the family!

My friendship with Amanda began when Brian came home from his freshmen year at UW and told us about an amazing girl he met in McMahon. From then on I don’t remember a Halloween without an incredibly impressive homemade costume from Amanda, or a Sunday morning without equally impressive homemade bagels and eggs in Greenlake. Visiting Amanda in Seattle and being able to see the city with family made the decision to come to UW like second nature, and I’m so lucky to have such a caring and funny future sister in law to geek out about books, baking, and all things baby Yoda with.

Brian took me to the driving range and didn’t laugh at my golf swing. That was the moment I knew he was going to be a great friend. I’m looking forward to all the free golf lessons in the years to come as his brother-in-law. Congratulations Brian and Amanda!

My name is Millie! I love snuggles and treats. I am very excited for my humans to be married! I promise to try to not steal the spotlight with my cuteness.
