Brian and Alana's paths first crossed at a baseball game at J.P. Case Middle School in 2009. However, destiny played a patient game, allowing their friendship to blossom in due time. It wasn't until their sophomore year of high school that Brian and Alana started hanging out. As they embarked on their senior year of high school, Brian and Alana started dating. Brian ventured off to Penn State, while Alana went to Rutgers. Despite the distance, their bond remained strong, serving as a testament to their enduring love. As graduation came, Brian chose to settle in Hoboken, close to his first job in NYC. Alana found herself in Somerset, NJ soaking up her 15 min commute to work. Alana ended up transferring to a job in NYC, and soon enough they were both living in Hoboken with their friends. Hoboken became their shared sanctuary, and as the world grappled with a pandemic in 2020, Brian and Alana found solace within the walls of their cozy haven - their first apartment together. On the hottest day of the year in August 2022, Brian plotted the perfect surprise. He led Alana to Liberty State Park for a “picnic.” Oblivious to the momentous occasion awaiting her, Alana complained about the heat, completely unaware what was about to happen. And just when she least expected it, Brian pulled out a ring, revealing his true intentions. Now, as they look forward to June 2024, Brian and Alana await the day when they will share their vows in the presence of cherished family and friends.
