Bri and Blake connected on Hinge in late October 2020 which started two months of text messages, phone calls and FaceTime dates. They had their first in-person date in mid-January at Bri’s apartment rooftop lounge, and, as they say, the rest is history.

It was a surprise! Bri was convinced that Blake was going to propose a week later. They had planned a “B&B Weekend” and she thought that was going to be the moment (nail appointment was scheduled!). Blake organized a date night to ensure that Bri was dressed up and ready to go on time :) On the walk to the elevator, Blake asked to stop into the rooftop lounge. In the same location as their first date, on July 29, 2023, Blake got down on one knee and proposed. The couple’s close friend, Saudia, had setup a video camera in the corner to capture the moment. There was champagne, flowers and dinner at their favorite restaurant to celebrate. And there was more…. The following weekend, Blake organized for their parents to come to Colorado Springs and celebrate the couple’s engagement. Bri was surprised (again!) when walking into a restaurant and seeing their loved ones seated together.
